Ofsted publishes childminders’ registration and inspection results, but not their names or home addresses in its open data, to protect their privacy. That’s why we show numbers and results by area rather than a list.
- Your council’s Family Information Service keeps a list of local childminders with vacancies: find your council on gov.uk.
- Check any childminder’s latest report on Ofsted’s reports website. Ask for their Ofsted URN.
